[opensuse-factory] TW : Libre Office Writer crash every time you try to print a document
TW release 20171030 I'm tring to print some documents, each time I hit the printer button or use file print lowriter close, document not recovered and the recover process is needed. It seems there's no damage on the file (cool). I was previously using libreoffice-kde4 with the adapted file open/save dialog boxes adapted to my plasma environement (with my places and shortcut). Since this package has disappear it is no more installed. Did some configuration are still in place, and thus the newer gtk3 is annoyed by them. Redoing the LibreOffice full configuration take times (estimated to 1 hours to review each parameters), so would like to avoid to start from scratch. Did someone else using plasma5/xorg (with or without nvidia) has encounter this kind of errors too ? In xsession-error.log I've found those 2 suspicious messages (soffice:8828): GLib-GObject-WARNING **: gsignal.c:3492: signal name 'selection_changed' is invalid for instance '0x559b81f09010' of type 'OOoAtkObjCompTxt' QXcbConnection: XCB error: 3 (BadWindow), sequence: 5889, resource id: 134223648, major code: 15 (QueryTree), minor code: 0 (soffice:8828): Gtk-CRITICAL **: gtk_container_foreach: assertion 'GTK_IS_CONTAINER (container)' failed QXcbConnection: XCB error: 3 (BadWindow), sequence: 8277, resource id: 134225287, major code: 15 (QueryTree), minor code: 0 My skills about glib/gtk bug bisect and report being quite low, any help will be really appreciated. -- Bruno Friedmann Ioda-Net Sàrl www.ioda-net.ch Bareos Partner, openSUSE Member, fsfe fellowship GPG KEY : D5C9B751C4653227 irc: tigerfoot -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-factory+owner@opensuse.org

Forcing use libreoffice dialog box (worst appearence) allow to have the save/ open and print working as workaround. -- Bruno Friedmann Ioda-Net Sàrl www.ioda-net.ch Bareos Partner, openSUSE Member, fsfe fellowship GPG KEY : D5C9B751C4653227 irc: tigerfoot -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-factory+owner@opensuse.org
