[opensuse-factory] Phoronix' find openSUSE 11.1 the slowest on Intel Atom platform
Hi, http://www.phoronix.com/vr.php?view=13259 I just read this article on Phoronix. Is some of the SW in openSUSE running with debug in some cases ? Two tests stick out as very bad: http://www.phoronix.com/scan.php?page=article&item=intel_atom_four&num=3 and http://www.phoronix.com/scan.php?page=article&item=intel_atom_four&num=5 Regards Birger -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-factory+help@opensuse.org

Well, I know it's slower than ALL the boxen I've run it on, comparing it to 11.0, so I can't doubt the tests. We have seen those results and are currently investigating what the reasons are. Barrier Support for filesystems (actually a safety feature), memory hotplugging and similar things have shown up on the radar already.
