[opensuse-factory] TW, docker and containerd/runc
Hello, It happened again: There are obviously new versions for containerd and runc available: containerd in version 0.2.5+gitr608 while installed but no longer available is version 0.2.5+gitr569 runc in version 0.1.1+gitr2942; installled here 0.1.1+gitr2819 The old versions seem to be deleted in all repos - so a zypper up does not try something here. zypper dup complains that the needed versions of containerd and runc for my docker are not available anywhere. Isn't there any relationship in the build process so that docker gets rebuild once one of the two packages here gets a new version? It's because of Docker's very precise version pinning, which requires us to pin the commits of the various projects. It looks like we updated two of the three packages (that need to be updated at the same time). We are planning on making this much less fragile _soon_. Sorry about that. https://bugzilla.opensuse.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1029551 tracks this issue. -- Aleksa Sarai Software Engineer (Containers) SUSE Linux GmbH https://www.cyphar.com/ -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-factory+owner@opensuse.org
