openSUSE:Factory - Build fail notification
Dear Package maintainers and hackers. Below package(s) in openSUSE:Factory have had problems for at least 4 weeks. We tried to send out notifications to the configured bugowner/maintainers of the package(s), but so far no fix has been submitted. This probably means that the maintainer/bugowner did not yet find the time to look into the matter and he/she would certainly appreciate help to get this sorted. - python-barbicanclient: Fails to build - python-influxdb: Fails to build - python-oslo.messaging: Fails to build - python-osprofiler: Fails to build - python-pandas: Uninstallable: nothing provides python310-Bottleneck >= 1.3.4 needed by python310-pandas-all-2.1.0.noarch - python-statsmodels: Fails to build Unless somebody is stepping up and submitting fixes, the listed package(s) are going to be removed from openSUSE:Factory. Kind regards, DimStar / Dominique Leuenberger <dimstar@opensuse.org>

There is python310-Bottleneck-1.3.7 in Factory. This message and all other complaints by installcheck on https://build.opensuse.org/package/show/openSUSE:Factory/python-pandas#comme... are bogus. It checks on the wrong i586 repositories. It probably gets confused by the fact that -pandas-all is not in Ring1 while python*-pandas is. This is known since at least July: https://lists.opensuse.org/archives/list/factory@lists.opensuse.org/thread/C...

Thanks for bringing this up The rings have no relevance here - the issue is merely that i586 is only enabled to build packages that are required to get wine built/installable - so we needed to have python-pandas enabled Not all extra-runtime-deps are enabled (i586 is not published in the end) - so the bot is a bit over-ambitious her; in the specific case, python-pandas (the thing we install) is installable, but python-pandas- all, which we don't need for this usecase, does not have all the runtime deps built. We need to make the bot smarter here; likely ignoring the i586 tree (we monitor the unresolvables, which should be good enough in this case) Cheers, Dominique
