[opensuse-factory] systemd and the fam.service
I want to point out that there is serious problem with the fam.service. In 12.1 RC2 it did not start due to a failure op open a port, which in my view could have something to do with systemd because it can also be started/activated in xinitd. It gives the same error when started in systemv or when activated in xinitd. But in 12.1 GM it does not even start the process, systemd can't find the fam.service, although the file /etc/init.d/fam is available. Starting it in 12.1 GM with systemv brings back the error message. -- fr.gr. This sounds like a bug, so please report it in bugzilla - and please give details on exactly what you mean with "can't find", e.g. show a command and the output of it, Andreas -- Andreas Jaeger aj@{suse.com,opensuse.org} Twitter/Identica: jaegerandi SUSE LINUX Products GmbH, Maxfeldstr. 5, 90409 Nürnberg, Germany GF: Jeff Hawn,Jennifer Guild,Felix Imendörffer,HRB16746 (AG Nürnberg) GPG fingerprint = 93A3 365E CE47 B889 DF7F FED1 389A 563C C272 A126 -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-factory+owner@opensuse.org
