[opensuse-factory] New package presentation: ejabberd.
Hi, ejabberd is the famous XMPP server daemon. many public XMPP server are powered by ejabberd (https://xmpp.net/directory.php) As far as I know, Factory doesn't have any XMPP server software and this limits usage. I think it would be great to have at least one. -- With best regards, Matwey V. ejabberd is in server:messaging and devel:languages:erlang as a dev project. I use it myself but I can also live with it being provided in some semi-official OBS repository. I've contributed a bit to the packaging before but I would not want to maintain it in Factory myself. d:l:e is now dedicated to erlang library applications, so I've SRed ejabberd to server:messages.

It quite mature and it doesn't want much attention. If nobody wants to take care in server:messages, I will do, because I have to maintain it in d:l:e. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-factory+owner@opensuse.org
