That one is old, it doesn't start in 12.1 either. And nothing at all in messages, the word "postfix" does not appear in the entire log. bnc#743739 is 'wontfix' since I cannot use my workstation to reproduce it. If resolution codes in opensuse's tracker follows the usual logic, the correct resolution for that would be "works for me", not "wontfix". wontfix is for things that are not in need of fixing. Ie: nonbugs, or things you cannot fix, or things you don't care to fix. Like, say, someone complains the artwork is "ugly", and you don't agree. That's a wontfix. Making this bug wontfix sends the wrong message. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-factory+owner@opensuse.org

They obviously are not "fixed", as it doesn't work. I can report a new bug, though. - -- Cheers / Saludos, Carlos E. R. I had troubles with postfix on 12.1 and reported it as https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=743739 There's also https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=727403 mentioning a maintenance update but didn't fix the issue I had. Well, this time it loaded *and* started. I guess it had *become* disabled and I reset it to "enabled" on the last boot. I did "chkconfig postfix on" and "systemctl enable postfix.service" when I noticed that it had failed to start (previous). will report the next time I notice. -- (paka)Patrick Shanahan Plainfield, Indiana, USA HOG # US1244711 http://wahoo.no-ip.org Photo Album: http://wahoo.no-ip.org/gallery2 http://en.opensuse.org openSUSE Community Member Registered Linux User #207535 @ http://linuxcounter.net -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-factory+owner@opensuse.org

Is repeatable but requires booting originally into runlevel 3. Also happes on my 12.1-tumbleweed installed. note: init 5 after boot settles *does* start postfix ???? -- (paka)Patrick Shanahan Plainfield, Indiana, USA HOG # US1244711 http://wahoo.no-ip.org Photo Album: http://wahoo.no-ip.org/gallery2 http://en.opensuse.org openSUSE Community Member Registered Linux User #207535 @ http://linuxcounter.net -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-factory+owner@opensuse.org
