Folks- The ppc factory is not being updated again. Is there a problem? Hi,
Looks ok to me.
It was not synced out for more than a week, while x86 was regularly updated (I'm also a mirror admin, so I see :-) ). internal sync was also stuck. I assume somebody saw the posting and fixed the issue meanwhile. Well, it seems to be stuck again. With the latest sync, there were 3046 i586 packages and 2 ppc packages :-( Bye, CzP --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-factory+help@opensuse.org
ppc appears to be stuck *again*, sigh. I wouldn't be so picky about this, except that at the moment ppc factory is uninstallable because of bug 346872. This is *technically* marked as fixed in libzypp-4.1.6, which was committed on 12/17. But as yet libzypp-4.1.6 hasn't made it to any part of the factory that I can see, although other items that were committed at about the same time *have* made it (at least to the other architectures). Does anybody have any idea what is up with the ppc factory sync, and also libzypp-4.1.6? Don't worry. If it has been synced out, it would still be uninstallable for other reasons :) It's just the way factory works, the chance it works is still pretty high for the many things that can go wrong. But for your very specific problem, libzypp 4.1.6 does not build: if you have a build service account, see https://build.opensuse.org/package/show?project=openSUSE%3AFactory&package=libzypp Greetings, Stephan --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-factory+help@opensuse.org
