For some reason, with the factory, once my screen has gone into powersave, it doesn't come out anymore. I need to reset the whole computer. This only happens with the recent beta 4, on the previous versions this wasn't happening.

Please ask these things in the factory list. There you will find most people that know about betas and factory.

I turned off powersave. I did notice awhile ago, that once you set the screen saver, GL, IF it runs correctly you can't get it to allow a logon and you'll end up turning off power to the 'puter. This IS a KDE 4.1* problem.

right, so Erik, are you running GNOME or KDE? Do you have an intel graphic card?

I have an NVidia graphic card. This bug only has to do with the screen powersaving, I disabled all other powersaving features. Also the mouse is active, but even killing X and restarting doesn't bring the screen back.
