i'm writing about an old bug, old bug "Select multiple files in GTK YaST2 software installer at once" https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=268167 still hasn't been implemented (as far as i know). Unfortunately, the gtk interface of YaST has gone the way of the dodo -- it is not recommended (and not the default) on openSUSE 13.2 and not at all available on Tumbleweed any longer.
