[opensuse-factory] Improving the Release Notes
1/ I'd like to collect ideas how we could improve the openSUSE release notes. Traditionally, we use these 4 categories for sorting the release notes entries: * Installation: * General: * Update: * Technical: In the context of https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=557412 I'd like to propose: . New Features and Essential Changes . Issues During New Installation . Issues During Upgrading the System . Miscellaneous Technical Details 2/ The yast ncurses ui will no longer display the .rtf files, but .txt files. You should create these files using "w3m --dump". The advantage would be that you can use advanced formatting features such as tables in the graphical YaST. I'll probably use the default DocBook style sheets to produce the files for the graphical YaST. Ideally, you could also add relevant info here: http://en.opensuse.org/Release_Notes -- Karl Eichwalder R&D / Documentation SUSE LINUX Products GmbH, GF: Markus Rex, HRB 16746 (AG Nuernberg) -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-factory+help@opensuse.org
