You are calling the compiler/linker with -m32, if you want to produce 32 bit binaries in a 64 bit system you need -32bit packages installed. Now if you are not trying to do so, your makefiles are broken, remove -m32 from them. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-factory+help@opensuse.org

RELEVANT don't you think? What were you trying to build, version and the configure options? I'm constantly building new apps and that does not happen, so your app is somehow misconfigured and looking in the wrong place as I don't see how anything would run on your box without the 64-bit libraries called out or even boot up to where you could do anything. # l /usr/lib64/libdl* -rw-r--r-- 1 root root 47882 Feb 24 19:18 /usr/lib64/libdl.a -rw-r--r-- 1 root root 50538 Feb 24 19:18 /usr/lib64/libdl_p.a lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 17 Apr 17 03:06 /usr/lib64/libdl.so -> /lib64/libdl.so.2 Regards Sid. -- Sid Boyce ... Can you please post the complete gcc commandline so that we can see the options that were passed to gcc? Otherwise it's guesswork as a working crystal ball has yet to be invented.
