Yes. But how? I have been struggeling with its configuration for weeks because it takes days to check the effect of configuration changes. While the NUMBER_LIMIT roughly works as I expected (pre and posts count as 1),
No, pre and post should not count as one. But the algorithm deletes pre and post together, so a limit of 1 and 2 might appear to be identical.
TIMELINE_LIMIT_* does not: TIMELINE_LIMIT_HOURLY=5 keeps the last five snapshots and not only five hourly snapshots per day. And although I set TIMELINE_LIMIT_DAILY=5 and the rest 0, there are still snapshots made eight days ago (five hourly and five daily).
Could be because the cleanup algorithm only runs once a day. But I see that this needs better documentation.
