Re: [opensuse-factory] Re: 11.0 Beta3 gets different IP address from DHCP server
renew its lease (bug #394375), so I think I will get wait for RC1 before bothering the DHCP people with a bug report (maybe by then they will have gotten NetworkManager to work correctly with multiple interfaces).
Why do you think they know about it, without your reporting it ? puzzled... --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-factory+help@opensuse.org

I don't for sure, although I did notice two or three bugs which could easily be explained by other hosts on the LAN not liking a different IP being used. I'm just looking at the clock, and RC1 comes out Thursday with several bad bugs still open for DHCP. I just saw an email on opensuse-bugs which suggests DHCP will be upgraded to a newer version before RC1 in hopes of fixing the segfault problem -- no need to worry them with such a trivial bug before they get that one sorted. I still believe a simple mention in the release notes should be sufficient (at least for my purposes). --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-factory+help@opensuse.org
