[opensuse-factory] kernel update results in boot failure
The RC1 test kernel update creates a grub menu config which has entries for both the old and the new kernel (good) but the old one is default at the top and the new one is further down (not good). The system fails to boot on the default entry (top of menu) because the old kernel has been deleted by the upgrade (very bad). Explicitly selecting the new kernel is fine (Phew ;) ). I can't believe I'm the first one to see this but don't find it searching for grub in RC1, though #223576 is somewhat similar. Wat nu? Bzip2 yast logs are 700k - is getting bugzilla clogged up with too much stuff a concern?
