[opensuse-factory] Plymouth still not accepted in Factory
Hi, since already two weeks I have been trying to get Plymouth accepted into Factory. The most feared legal review was done within a few hours, but it seems now that nobody is willing to validate the package further so that it can be accepted. I have been updating/correcting the package based on the indications that I have received unofficially, but now since 3 days the plymouth package is still awaiting review. I have spend quite some time in getting it where it is now and I would like to know what the intention is of those in control of Factory. If it is not wanted in Factory, then please indicate this and I will revoke my SR and keep it as a user-supported package in my own home repository. If something is still missing, then I would also like to get an official feedback what this is, so that I can correct it. I know that there are still some rough edges that needs further testing, but this cannot be done without having it in Factory. Also people willing to do the artwork for an openSUSE branding are awaiting the acceptance in Factory so that they can start their work. Congrats for getting on top of this hill and coming well back! :)

Please, please try to push, dump this fresh knowledge you earned back into the wiki.
but now since 3 days the plymouth package is still awaiting review.
The submit request URL is missing to give your blame more attention.

Very likely lack of time. But without the submit request ID, and even better with a clickable URL for the lazy dudes might push it a bit.

That's bad. Sorry, we have to identify what's causing the bottleneck and then try to remove it. Thanks for your work! Lars -- Lars Müller [ˈlaː(r)z ˈmʏlɐ] Samba Team SUSE Linux, Maxfeldstraße 5, 90409 Nürnberg, Germany

I'm sorry but I can't review it (as I'm part of the ChangeLog for that request). CC'ed darix in order to get things going ;-) -- Viele Grüße, Sascha Peilicke
