All, I am thinking of upgrading my laptop in near future. The one I am considering has Killer Wireless Chipset AC 1525. Anyone confirm network drivers are available for this chipset please? Regards. Sudhir Anand

Thank you for your prompt response. Researching a bit, it appeared that there were issues with this chipset. That apart, there was a suggestion firmware has to be downloaded and put in a specific directory for this chipset to work with Linux. Regards Sudhir Anand

So-called "Killer" ethernet chipsets are actually just relabelled Atheros (not even with its own vendor id) plus some crazy windows software bypassing their networking stack plus loads of hype. Wouldn't be too surprised if their wi-fi chipsets were the same.
