Do you think there's any point in enabling BSD process accounting for bootchartd?
I don't know, what are you trying to accomplish?
The bootchartd docs say you get a more accurate graph that way - without BSD process accounting in the kernel, it can miss short-lived processes. I'm interested in seeing if we're spawning scads of processes anywhere.
If so, what's my best option for getting such a kernel? If there's nothing prebuilt, how hard is it to build my own set of kernel RPMs?
Oh, sorry, I never build a SUSE kernel RPM myself. People at kernel@suse.de should be able to help.
Ok - I wasn't able to find anything about building custom kernel RPMs on the wiki. Maybe we can leverage the build service for this :) -- Hans Petter -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-factory+help@opensuse.org
