issue with libQt6Core.so.6 don't let me to dup my Tumbleweed
Hello listmates Since a couple of weeks (or so, cant't remember the date) I can't zypper dup my tumbleweed + Plasma system. Everytime I lauch the command zypper says that "telegram-desktop-5.5.5-1.2.x86_64 installed requires libQt6Core.so.6(Qt_6.7.3_PRIVATE_API)(64bit)" I have options: keep obsolete libQt6Core6-6.7.3-1.1.x86_64 libQt6Gui6-6.7.3-1.1.x86_64 libQt6Widgets6-6.7.3-1.1.x86_64 libQt6DBus6-6.7.3-1.1.x86_64 libQt6OpenGL6-6.7.3-1.1.x86_64 uninstall telegram-dektop (nope!) brake telegram-desktop breaking dependencies (nope!) If I choose the 1st option, then ask me for many other packages that also nee libQt6Core.so.6(Qt_6.8)(64bit) I though that this would be fixed in a few days, but I'm stuck with this issue and can't update. ¿did something wrong? ¿should update some package or change somethig? check up on dusted up coolers / vents etc. That is the first thing that I did, but I can't imagine that
That's a known issue and was already discussed on the support mailinglist a few days ago. The good thing is that there's already a fix submitted: https://build.opensuse.org/request/show/1208908 The most boring solution is to wait until this SR reaches Tumbleweed. Now we're just waiting for the bureaucratic entry in the changelog that points out the bug? While every TW user is waiting for a working TG App again? Can the factory maintainers please approve? Thank you Axel

No, you are waiting for the package maintainer reviewing the request.
Can the factory maintainers please approve?
Overstepping the package maintainers should only be done if a maintainer is really not available, not just because he did not react immediately. Or you can step up and apply for co-maintainership of that package ;-) Best regards, -- Stefan Seyfried "For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for nature cannot be fooled." -- Richard Feynman

8 days is far from 'immediately' IMHO.

thx for the offer, but have enough packages to maintain. Schöne Grüße Axel -- Written from cell phone - excuses for typos
