gebaar-libinput is a daemon for touchpad gestures that is window manager-independent. It can be configured to run commands for certain gestures (currently only swiping, but pinch/rotation gestures are coming)

openSUSE currently lacks any touchpad gesture daemons that can be used regardless of DE/WM which seems a bit odd. This is the reason I'll be submitting gebaar-libinput to Factory.
