Re: [opensuse-factory] Old library lying around
Hi,
That's what I tried to figure in the first place, exactly how it came to be installed. Probably one of these, though I haven't seen the problem on any other box. tindog:/etc/zypp/repos.d # ls 11.3non-oss.repo 11.3oss.repo 11.3 - VideoLan.repo google-chrome.repo hamradio.repo science.repo
no, xorg-x11-libxcb-unstable-devel was actually part of openSUSE 11.0 (http://rpm.pbone.net/index.php3/stat/4/idpl/11099920/dir/opensuse/com/xorg-x...). It should by obsoleted by xorg-x11-libxcb-devel (with which it was apparently never parallel installable). Andreas -- GMX DSL Doppel-Flat ab 19,99 Euro/mtl.! From that release? Amazing! I can't remember the base install from which I upgraded, but probably 10.x - I normally only do incremental upgrades. Looks like one of those bugs that just decided to bite at this moment. I had similar happen in the kernel about 2 years ago where a longstanding logical error in the code threw a problem when the the git number increased. Regards Sid. -- Sid Boyce ...
