[opensuse-factory] reproducible builds status 2022-01
Hi, this month, I managed to spend some hours to debug some issues and to submit several fixes. The number of xmvn-induced non-deterministic packages is still rising. Would be nice, if someone could work on https://bugzilla.opensuse.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1162112 Also I noticed several rust-built packages that varied in their machine code from an unknown reason: fractal, gstreamer-plugins-rs, rage-encryption last month's status: https://lists.opensuse.org/archives/list/factory@lists.opensuse.org/thread/V... Last months' reproducible builds project updates (including my work): https://reproducible-builds.org/reports/2021-12/ I uploaded https://rb.zq1.de/compare.factory-20220131/ today and rbstats are: total-packages: 14313 (+45) build-tried: 14281 (+43) build-failed: 27 (-4) build-n-a: 201 (-95) build-succeeded: 14053 (+142) build-official-failed+na: 176 (+140) build-compare-failed: 411 (+5) build-compare-succeeded: 13642 (+137) verify-failed: 347 (-107) verified-semi-reproducible: 13060 (-74) bit-by-bit-identical: 13578 (+111) not-bit-by-bit-identical: 509 (+69) not-bit-by-bit-identicalcheck: 475 (+31) https://rb.zq1.de/compare.factory-20220131/graph.png shows the change over time https://rb.zq1.de/compare.factory-20220131/unreproduciblerings.txt lists very unreproducible core packages (bootstrap+DVD) Of the badly unreproducible packages, 5 were in ring0 40 were in ring1 That makes it 45/3247 => 1.39 % which is below the overall average of 411/14053 => 2.92 % 509/14053 => 3.62 % of packages are not perfectly reproducible Ciao Bernhard M.
