[opensuse-factory] rug forgot on what platform it runs
Hi, I can not use rug anymore on my system. It seems not to be a general problem of zmd, as zen-updater for example is perfectly able to install the updates. if I issue a 'rug ping', the OS is marked as {noarch} and whenever I issue a rug in <packet> this ends with an error, without a very nifty message stating what could be wrong. rug up ends with the same (at the moment rug up is not possible, as it tries to update compiz which seems to have some problems in factory at this moment.. but that's not subject of this message) rug lu on the other hand lists the updates (the same as zen-updater shows) without any problems... it really just fails when it should install them. How can I teach rug what OS it is running on? Hi,
On 03-04-2007 at 14:45, "Dominique Leuenberger" if I issue a 'rug ping', the OS is marked as {noarch} and whenever I issue a rug in <packet> this ends with an error, without a very nifty message stating what could be wrong.
I've seen a very similiar (equal) bug existed through ALPHA of openSUSE 10.2, and was reported as #212252; It got solved back then, and apparently reappeared. I just opened a new bug (with reference to the one mentioned above).
