New package for teleport (goteleport.com)
Hi all, there is a new package in Tumbleweed called teleport, with three subpackages: - teleport - teleport-tctl - teleport-tsh Those belong to teleport from goteleport.com: Certificate authority and access plane for SSH, Kubernetes, web apps, databases and desktops One fix is missing and on its way to Factory: https://build.opensuse.org/request/show/956140 I created a vagrant-libvirt setup with ansible, in case you want to give it a spin:

There is a very nice bunch of videos on this at Rawkode's youtube channel:

Hi Johannes, thanks for this. Does it follow the teleport package from the official Teleport RPM repository or did you build it from scratch? I wonder as I always used theirs, and after over half a year of waiting (!), managed to get the Teleport folks to sign their RPM repository metadata in order for zypper to not complain. :-) Best Georg On 2/20/22 14:34, Johannes Kastl wrote:

I built this like I built lots of other go-related packages in the last couple of weeks, i.e. "from scratch". I only had a quick look at their RPM, but wanted to check it again thorougly now that "my" rpm actually works. The problem with upstream RPMs is often, that they do not build in a closed environment like we do on OBS, so no network access and no way to pull in lots of funny things and dependencies... Just as a reminder, prebuild (upstream) binaries are not accepted: https://en.opensuse.org/openSUSE:Packaging_guidelines#No_inclusion_of_pre-bu... Cheers Axel

Who are you addressing with this? Or in other words: Is there something "wrong" in my package that I am not aware of and that I should fix? :-) Kind Regards, Johannes -- Johannes Kastl Linux Consultant & Trainer Tel.: +49 (0) 151 2372 5802 Mail: kastl@b1-systems.de B1 Systems GmbH Osterfeldstraße 7 / 85088 Vohburg http://www.b1-systems.de GF: Ralph Dehner Unternehmenssitz: Vohburg / AG: Ingolstadt,HRB 3537
