[opensuse-factory] Widevine plugin for chromium fails to show Amazon Video
Has anyone used the Widevine plugin for Chromium (from the Packman repo) successfully with either Tumbleweed or Leap 42.2 to watch Amazon Video? On both systems I get video error codes suggesting lack of bandwith, plausible at ~5Mbps/WiFi, unlikely at 78Mbps/wired. Other proprietary devices are quite happy, even at the meagre ADSL speeds over WiFi. I've also tried setting the 'Always allowed to run' checkbox in chrome://plugins for Widevine Content Decryption Module. Has anyone had success with getting licensed content to play? If there is a sample that we can try... :-? -- Cheers / Saludos, Carlos E. R. (from 13.1 x86_64 "Bottle" at Telcontar)

Amazon Video works with chrome. and i made it work with firefox after installing flash 24 beta from http://labs.adobe.com/downloads/flashplayer.html and somehow after this install the following firefox plugins are installed: Widevine Content Decryption Module zur Verfügung gestellt von Google Inc. version 1.4.8.903 OpenH264-Videocodec zur Verfügung gestellt von Cisco Systems, Inc. version 1.6 and now Amazon Video also works in firefox. -- Best Regards | Freundliche Grüße | Cordialement | Cordiali Saluti | *DI Rainer Klier* Research & Development, Technical Sales Consultant Namirial GmbH -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-factory+owner@opensuse.org
