Q: locate single RPM on opensuse
Hi, I failed to find my patch from opensuse.org to downloading a specific package. I hoped to find the information needed (URL) in en.opensuse.org/Package_Repositories, but failed. I suggest to add a search function for "locate software package" or a table (probably quite huge) with all current (=included) packages. I don't want to download whole ISO images to try a single package. Maybe I'm just too dumb to solve this problem. Anyone who can help? Regards, Ulrich

It's on the http://en.opensuse.org/Development_Version page, use the 'Internet Installation Repository' link almost at the bottom: http://download.opensuse.org/distribution/SL-OSS-factory/inst-source/ Bye, -- CzP http://peter.czanik.hu/

Thanks! The URL works, but I could not locate the entry (how to get there from the main page). Regards, Ulrich

Choose the 'suse' directory and then the directory related to the architecture of your choice. Bye, -- CzP http://peter.czanik.hu/
