As far as I can see createrepo is not available anymore (on Beta6). Will this be added later, or is it replaced? Or should I open a bugreport? houghi -- Nutze die Zeit. No -- apt won't hit the CDs (as we stated earlier, when we readded apt to 10.1). Regards Christoph

No, at least not without it being used and implemented in some way in something else. I mainly use it to place RPMs in /usr/src/packages/RPMS/* and use that as an installation source. What could be done is that when adding a directory, createrepo runs on that directory. If that would happen, then it would become more important then a game. Untill then I think a game is more importand for the genric public, even tough it won't be for me. I should have realized it would be on the FTP. houghi -- Nutze die Zeit. No need to do so. apt4rpm has always been only in the FTP version and it will stay that way. Createrepo is handled likewise. Philipp
