[opensuse-factory] libqt5-qtdeclarative-devel — /usr/bin/qmlscene
Hello! For some reason qmlscene is packaged in devel subpackage. It is required by https://github.com/Swordifish90/cool-old-term I would like to promote so I would like to move /usr/bin/qmlscene to the main library subpackage or to the separate one. Is it OK? Should/could I do it via a SR? -- Best regards, Dmitriy DA(P).DarkneSS Perlow @ Linux x64 -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-factory+owner@opensuse.org

Is it OK? Should/could I do it via a SR? Either a new tools subpackage should be created, or left as is. That an application needs qmlscene for runtime sounds broken (or not finished, at best)

Should I ask upstream at first? -- Best regards, Dmitriy DA(P).DarkneSS Perlow @ Linux x64 -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-factory+owner@opensuse.org

Why not do, what šumski suggests: add a tools subpackage with qmlscene, and create a new package for cool-old-term, that depends on qtdeclarative-tools. The former can be SRed, when the latter is accepted in KDE:Extras.. šumski already has done it. So I am almost happy. -- Best regards, Dmitriy DA(P).DarkneSS Perlow @ Linux x64 -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-factory+owner@opensuse.org
