[opensuse-factory] syslog-ng 3.3 beta1 and a new dependency
Hello, I just prepared a new syslog-ng package for version 3.3 beta1 in my home at https://build.opensuse.org/package/show?package=syslog-ng&project=home%3Aczanik%3Asyslog-ng33 This version added json support and an additional dependency: libjson-glib Question: should I break it into a separate package, or it could stay in the main syslog-ng package, as libjson-glib is installed on most systems anyway? syslog-ng 3.3 beta1 brings many interesting new features: it is fully multi-threaded, mongodb and json support, etc. For a complete list, check https://lists.balabit.hu/pipermail/syslog-ng/2011-May/016624.html Bye, CzP -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-factory+help@opensuse.org

Better to split it, even if libjson-glib is pulled by GNOME3. -- Frederic Crozat <fcrozat@suse.com> SUSE -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-factory+help@opensuse.org

I updated the package, so json output module is now in a separate package. While there I also cleaned up the spec file a bit, fixed some rpmlint warnings, etc. Bye, CzP -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-factory+help@opensuse.org
