[opensuse-factory] nut build on Tumbleweed - tex help needed
Hello all, At the moment our UPS tools package [1] fails to build on Tumbleweed. When I checked what's going on I found out there were missing texlive packages thus I added them. Yet even now the package fails to build with very helpful message of "pdflatex failed Unexpected error occured" this is not really helpful. I even tried to compare the output between Leap and TW (see pdflatex.diff) but that does not show any traceable output either. Anyone knows this stuff and maybe have suggestions how to make it more verbose or how to right away fix it? TIA Tom [1] https://build.opensuse.org/package/show/hardware/nut

I'm no expert on tex, but I think the error comes from " Image 'dblatex' not found", and earlier there is: +asciidoc: includa2x: ERROR: "dblatex" -t pdf -p "/etc/asciidoc/dblatex/asciidoc-dblatex.xsl" -s "/etc/asciidoc/dblatex/asciidoc-dblatex.sty" -V "/home/abuild/rpmbuild/BUILD/nut-2.7.4/docs/user-manual.xml" returned non-zero exit status 1 The man page does not list exit codes. a2x normally removes any temporary files after it has finished, but you can add the "--keep-artifacts"/"-k" command line option to its invocation. Afterwards, you should have the temporary files somewhere below /tmp/, including the log file from pdflatex. You also have to specify "--dblatex-opts=--debug", otherwise dblatex cleans up the tex logs.
