[opensuse-factory] DICE - Desktop/Server integration

Hi list, Maybe wrong list to ask these questions, but yet. The DICE package for 11.3 M4 still holds version 0.1.9. Is there ongoing developement on DICE? According to http://en.opensuse.org/DICE the DICE Manager has a login feature (auth-agent) nautilus-dice is a nautilus extension that exposes shared document (Teaming) actions in the native file browser. At least DICE is a openSUSE project and available for the latest openSUSE, contrary to the proprieatary Novell Client for Linux which is a delaying factor for deployment (still not available for openSUSE 11.2). What I wonder is if DICE could be extended to get a generic, simplified/automatical login and file mount for openSUSE clients networked with openSUSE/SLES/OES2/NOWS servers? Rgds, Terje J. Sad story, indeed... (but I do have it running on my Factory box :) ) Trick to do: - Make an rpm with libfd from 11.1 (this is just done to not have to 'force' any installs - Install the existing client of 11.1 (NCL 2.0) If you need help with the rpm for libfd0, just let me know. I'll gladly spin one up for you. Dominique -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-factory+help@opensuse.org
