What can i do to get rid of the tree connect failure?
Well what i did was: set the debug level in the smb.conf to 10, That pointed out that: [2007/03/01 08:12:06, 3] smbd/service.c:make_connection(1120) refusing connection to dfs proxy share 'ipc$' (pointing to no) Removing the 'msdfs proxy = no' line from the smb.conf did the trick. monkey9@tribal-sfn2:~> smbclient -L tribal-sfn2 Password: Domain=[TRIBAL-SFN2] OS=[Unix] Server=[Samba 3.0.23d-19.2-1179-SUSE-SL10.2] Sharename Type Comment --------- ---- ------- divx Disk films mp3 Disk muziek shared Disk muziek documenten Disk documenten tekeningen Disk tekeningen IPC$ IPC IPC Service (Samba 3.0.23d-19.2-1179-SUSE-SL10.2) Domain=[TRIBAL-SFN2] OS=[Unix] Server=[Samba 3.0.23d-19.2-1179-SUSE-SL10.2] Server Comment --------- ------- Workgroup Master --------- ------- MSHOME monkey9@tribal-sfn2:~> thnx to Volker Volker.Lendecke@SerNet.DE - --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-factory+help@opensuse.org - -- Have a nice day, M9.
