Fwd: [opensuse-factory] New Tumbleweed snapshot 20150811 released!
Hi,
I was able to install Tumbleweed from a USB stick using
openSUSE-Tumbleweed-DVD-x86_64-Snapshot20150811-Media.iso on a Dell
Optiplex 990 (set to UEFI mode)
I got a surprising error message ("These packages could not be
found...") at the end of the installation process, certainly related
to the fact I asked the autoyast profile to be written.
But the system boots properly and I checked with the first packages of
the list and they were properly installed.

Surprisingly, I was not able to re-install again on the same system
and got an error message during installation "an error occurred during
the installation"

Regards
Paul

With this we actually expect to have solved the issue of the ISOs not booting on UEFI systems when transferred to a USB stick.
Please test the latest 0811 ISOs and report back.
