Hi I would like to introduce duply to Factory. The package currently is maintained in the utilities repository. The purpose of duply in Factory will enable an enduser to have some additional features with the already available duplicity. Duply deals as a wrapper for duplicity. It simplifies running duplicity with cron or on command line by: - keeping recurring settings in profiles per backup job - enabling batch operations eg. backup_verify_purge - executing pre/post scripts for every command - precondition checking for flawless duplicity operation The upstream package is in development at; http://ftplicity.svn.sourceforge.net/viewvc/ftplicity/duply/trunk/ Note: from http://duply.net/?title=Duply-code "duply's svn repository is not the most recent source for the code.
