[opensuse-factory] kde4 kills rdesktop?
Listmates, I posted to the user list as well. It seems rdesktop will not connect to my xp boxes in kde4. If I login to kde3, rdesktop connect beautifully. What gives? When trying to connect in kde4, you get a momentary "flash" for the bounding rectangle for what would be the session, then rdesktop just quits. This is eerily similar to what happens when connecting with fish in kde4, the connection is established, then it immediately fails. I wonder if somehow the two could be related?? I'm just using the standard: rdesktop -u myuser -g 1280x800 -E -x l ripper.3111skyline.com Has worked great forever, but so far not in kde4. Anyone else seeing this? -- David C. Rankin, J.D.,P.E. David, I'm still at kde 4.2 on my workstation, but I use rdesktop all the time. One difference is I invoke it via tsclient. You might want to try that.
