[opensuse-factory] YaST Partitioner: is it 11.1 the same as Factory? (Missing option to edit/add lable)
If it is the same then workflow is missing branch for labeling of external hard disks without mounting the drive. This is important for external hard disk drives that are usually mounted dynamically, so there is no need to specify mount point in fstab. -- Regards, Rajko -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-factory+help@opensuse.org

Factory and 11.1 are not the same but there shouldn't be a change like the one you describe. Please make a bug report (preferable with the next 11.2 alpha) and describe the issue more accurate (and don't forget the YaST logs). ciao Arvin -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-factory+help@opensuse.org

Thanks for answer Arvin. The issue is missing feature, as window that I've seen is classic YaST Partitioner window that allows to edit partition. I asked about Factory, just because the rest of the window is new design for 11.2. I installed factory few weeks ago and I can't remember details, but if it is essentially same then changing label alone is missing since we have dynamically loaded disks. It happened that my old external drive has 2 partitions, one is labeled in factory, the other that I created is not, which combined with USB sticks makes hard to distinguish drives using Mindnight commander. I'll add this to feature request that is already filed, if I can find it :-) -- Regards, Rajko -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-factory+help@opensuse.org
