[opensuse-factory] Questions on 13.1 factory repo.
From 13.1 Repos.d Code
baseurl=http://download.opensuse.org/factory/repo/oss --------- /Code Is this the correct factory repo to update 13.1 MS4 from? I installed 13.1 earlier today and when I try to update it seems to take hours (approx 1-3 minutes per selected rpm just to change from keep to update in YaST). Is the YaST now used the new Rudy based product? If so its extremely slow than the old YaST on 12.3. I finally just aborted before selecting everything. The repo may have just been busy, no way I can tell. I noticed the install added update repos but there is nothing for update. I have problem with systemctl, YaST switcher and some power error on boot about wrong configuration. I did run MD5SUM, SHA1SUM and media check on iso created dvd, no errors. Any comments? That much is normal. Other than a test update, the updates report is only populated after the release goes gold, which is still months away. Greg -- Sent from my Android phone with K-9 Mail. If I verify its the right factory repo I will try and figure out all the dependence issues.
This was a clean install to spare disk drive. (actually I deleted 12.2 off it) and had the install format everything). Thanks for your response. -- openSUSE 12.3(Linux 3.10.7-1.g771dec3-desktop)|KDE 4.11.00 |Intel core2duo 2.5 MHZ,|8GB DDR3|GeForce 8400GS (NVIDIA-Linux-x86_64-325.15) -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-factory+owner@opensuse.org
