[opensuse-factory] Build 909 Factory k3b crashes when starting up
Dear Listmates, While using build 909 kde_live_cd, k3b crashes every time I start it up. I cannot get it to work for a review. -- Cheers! Roman -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-factory+help@opensuse.org
Run k3b from the command line and paste the output here. On Sat, Nov 27, 2010 at 18:30, Roman Bysh <rbtc1@rogers.com> wrote:

Here's the code: roman@opensuse:~> k3b KGlobal::locale::Warning your global KLocale is being recreated with a valid main component instead of a fake component, this usually means you tried to call i18n related functions before your main component was created. You should not do that since it most likely will not work kde(2306): Communication problem with "k3b" , it probably crashed. Error message was: "org.freedesktop.DBus.Error.NoReply" : " "Message did not receive a reply (timeout by message bus)" " KCrash: Application 'k3b' crashing... KCrash: Attempting to start /usr/lib64/kde4/libexec/drkonqi from kdeinit sock_file=/home/roman/.kde4/socket-opensuse.site/kdeinit4__0 roman@opensuse:~> QSocketNotifier: Invalid socket 10 and type 'Read', disabling... Check your internationalisation packages. Maybe reinstall the KDE international packages. Maybe this will help. http://comments.gmane.org/gmane.comp.kde.bugs/421355 Maybe someone else has some suggestions. On Sat, Nov 27, 2010 at 19:46, Roman Bysh <rbtc1@rogers.com> wrote:

That's not causing a crash, just a warning. Greetings, Stephan -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-factory+help@opensuse.org
