Re: [opensuse-factory] 42 dashboard online
There are lots of applications that at least require 32 bit libs. As long as openSUSE doesn't lose those libs it will be OK. Otherwise it will bleed users. On Tue, Jun 30, 2015 at 10:29 AM, Steven Hess <flamebait@gmail.com> wrote:

For SP1 we set those to ExludeArch: %ix86 and I think this is what we need to do in 42 too.
There are many people still using 32 bit machines and servers. I have one. Also, on virtual machines it is useful to use 32 bit for somewhat smaller footprint.
Please don't drop the 32 bit support.
who will take care of that ? where will you get the resources needed to support it ? See ..wishing something to remain available be does not make so..there are plenty of 32 bit distributions available including but not limited to older and still supported openSUSE releases, just let this 32 bit x86 thing die before it gets even more rotten.. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-factory+owner@opensuse.org
