Try looking in bugzilla since it might, or >might not be related. https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=478083 My solution there was: I solved it on my machine with: gnome-keyboard-properties There was us.map.gz in the list, as opposed to any other moment when I checked.
