[opensuse-factory] removing xulrunner 1.9.1.*

Hi, now that 11.3 is released I will request removal of mozilla-xulrunner191 as it won't be supported for openSUSE <next> anymore (most likely). osc shows the following dependencies: mozilla-xulrunner191 : OpenOffice_org OpenOffice_org-bootstrap OpenOffice_org-components OpenOffice_org-libs-extern chmsee kdebase4-workspace libgluezilla0 moonshine These packages need to be checked if it's possible to build them against xulrunner192 or if the deps are bogus (inherited from a package down the chain?). for chmsee that probably will result in another patch, which most of the time is not that bad. Do you happen to have an overview of API changes between xul191 and xul 192? There is a document outlining the relevant changes. But I tried to just build it and it was successful. See submitreq to GNOME:Apps. I switched for > 1120 though. Do you have switched SeaMonkey to something newer already? I wonder as we officially never supported 1.9.2, our current releases still being on 1.9.1 and our next release going to be on 2.0. Of course, if you already have switched Factory to the latter, that's alright, but good to know for me as a project manager is a distro is packaging alpha-quality states of our product. ;-) Robert Kaiser -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-factory+help@opensuse.org

No, this post is only about xulrunner191 so far. Seamonkey is still on 2.0.x.
I hope that Seamonkey x.y.z (mozilla2 based) will be available for opensuse.next but no need to hurry with that. For xulrunner we need to prepare earlier to port/remove the above dependencies. Seamonkey is a leaf package for a reason. Wolfgang -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-factory+help@opensuse.org

Ah, so you're packaging SeaMonkey as its separate thing, not as using anything from the xulrunner package, I guess. That explains things.
If Firefox 4.0 (based on Mozilla 2.0) will be in that opensuse.next, SeaMonkey 2.1 (also based on Mozilla 2.0) should be ready as well, we should be back to matching schedules closely. Is factory accepting post 11.3 updates/packages already? Or are you talking about a devel repo. Greg -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-factory+help@opensuse.org

I'm talking about Factory. I don't care when Factory submissions will be processed again but I can do {delete, submit}requests I guess already. Wolfgang -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-factory+help@opensuse.org

I have fixed chmsee, have patches for libgluezilla0 and moonshine and kdebase4-workspace disappeared from the output and apparently was fixed somehow. So only OpenOffice stuff is left. Could someone handle it and confirm? Otherwise I need to trigger people directly.
