Yes, the generic_readlink code was changed in the 4.10 kernel. I made changes that allowed a build under kernel 4.10, but I failed to note that this resulted in a missing global for vboxsf. An updated virtualbox package is currently building on my local system, and a revised package should be ready in a few hours. It will, however, take some time for that to propagate through the system. To help the process, please file a bug at https://bugzilla.suse.com against virtualbox, and assign it to me.
