[opensuse-factory] Status: Distribution
Hi, Normally I would upload Milestone4 to the mirrors around now, but unfortunately my own experience in using Factory right now forbids this. There are too many regressions in there atm - I don't even have network (possibly already fixed in http://bit.ly/f8yt6S) So I would like to have them fixed first and then release early next week. Greetings, Stephan -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-factory+help@opensuse.org

Stephan, The Network might also have been due to NM crashing on startup, which was fixed last night by Will 9bnc#655505) But I think think it's a good call to postpone a Milestone in this situation. Is there a list of regressions people can help with? Or do we already have people working on all of them? Thanks, Vincent -- Les gens heureux ne sont pas pressés. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-factory+help@opensuse.org

I have: - kde branding packages could not be installed (FIXED) - live cds did not login (FIXED) - NM crashes (hopefully soon FIXED, I needed to get rpmlint updated first) - network doesn't work at all (hopefully kernel related, see above) - suspend does not work (on my laptop, didn't look into it yet) Greetings, Stephan -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-factory+help@opensuse.org
