this update requires "systemctl restart dbus" which drops wireless internet connection and doesn't re-establish that connection. This is a major problem for remote administration.
Knowing ahead of time, one could: systemctl restart dbus;systemctl restart wicked wickedd network or similar, but that information is not provided.
In reality, not even that works, the network will not restart; requires restarting system. -- (paka)Patrick Shanahan Plainfield, Indiana, USA @ptilopteri http://en.opensuse.org openSUSE Community Member facebook/ptilopteri http://wahoo.no-ip.org Photo Album: http://wahoo.no-ip.org/gallery2 Registered Linux User #207535 @ http://linuxcounter.net -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-factory+owner@opensuse.org

I've always used a double ampersand "&&" between separate commands on one line. Is this no longer the case? -- Ken linux since 1994 S.u.S.E./openSUSE since 1996 -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-factory+owner@opensuse.org

Yes, if the second depends on the first being successful. -- (paka)Patrick Shanahan Plainfield, Indiana, USA @ptilopteri http://en.opensuse.org openSUSE Community Member facebook/ptilopteri http://wahoo.no-ip.org Photo Album: http://wahoo.no-ip.org/gallery2 Registered Linux User #207535 @ http://linuxcounter.net -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-factory+owner@opensuse.org

That would wait for the first command to complete and run the second only if the exit code was zero. But I think that the OP might have meant kwin --replace & i.e. start kwin, replacing the already running X window manager and background the process.
