[opensuse-factory] btrfs and samba acls
Hi We're concerned about discussions where btrfs cannot lay down and retain samba induced acls e.g. https://lists.samba.org/archive/samba/2014-April/180747.html Will it be possible to mimic windows ntacls with btrfs as well as we currently do with ext4? Yes. Btrfs supports extended attributes and POSIX (Draft) ACLs, which can both be used by Samba for mapping and storage of NT ACLs. Cheers, David -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-factory+owner@opensuse.org
