[opensuse-factory] Crossover - IE kills dualhead
Hello, I'm not really sure what the correct place to ask this is - but since my system is running on 11.1 beta3, I'm at least not completely off-topic ;-) To sum up my problem: - I use a dual-head setup (laptop display + external monitor) - I have installed Crossover (hey, they gave it away for free ;-) - Inside Crossover, I installed Internet Explorer 6 (unfortunately some sort of must-have if you create websites - at least I must be able to check what IE breaks this time) - to make it secure, Crossover runs as another user I ssh -X into The result: - IE works without problems (or should I say "shows it usual bugs"? ;-) - When I close IE, it changes my X config (!) to only use the laptop display instead of dualhead. I guess this is done via some xrandr call. - for comparison: Running notepad.exe within Crossover doesn't change the X config - after logout / login, I get my dualhead setup back Now my question: - how can I avoid that IE changes my X config when I close it? - is there a better place for my question? - what is the correct call to setup a dualhead environment using xrandr? I tested a bit, but didn't find the correct commandline. ;-) [Ferdinand Ihringer in suse-linux] -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-factory+help@opensuse.org
