[opensuse-factory] Question concerning choices..
Hi, I just wanted to update newest factory. The solver wanted me to make choices about the installation of pkgs. If the solver asks not to install a newer pkg, because of unsolvable deps, does that mean: The old version is going to be removed, without being updated?, or, The old version stays installed, but does not get updated? I ask this because for some reason some pkgs were uninstalled whch i was not aware of, and never installed again, which showed later, when i had to reinstall the pkgs manualy. Another question: akonadi-4.0.69-26.1.x86_64 vereist libakonadiprotocolinternals.so.4()(64bit), Maar aan deze eis kan niet voldaan worden verwijderde leveranciers: libakonadi4-4.0.70-3.3.x86_64[@System] geen installeerbare aanbieders: libakonadi4-4.0.69-6.x86_64[Factory] libakonadi4-4.0.69-6.x86_64[Factory1] vereist=requires deze eis kan niet voldaan worden=this requirement cannot be fullfilled verwijderde aanbieders=removed providers geen installeerbare aanbieders=no installable providers removed providers had libakonadi4-4.0.70-3.3.x86_64, because it seems to be installed. are the pkgs that are going to be removed unstable versions, that belong to that version of libakonadi? and if so, do i have to install the stable versions manualy, once the are removed? -- Enjoy your time around, Oddball (Now or never...) The reason for asking is: The way i see a pattern is: a bunch of pkgs belonging to eachother. (is this true or false?) Because, if these pkgs, which are going to be removed belong to a pattern, that is installed, they would/should get installed automaticly to fullfill the pattern. If this assumption is wrong, i know i have to install them manualy, unless i don't need them..(?) -- Enjoy your time around, Oddball (Now or never...)
