[opensuse-factory] New package: LevelDB
Hi, I'd like to submit LevelDB as a new Factory development package. As described on the project homepage[1], LevelDB is a fast key-value storage library that provides an ordered mapping from string keys to string values. It is required by Ceph for key-value storage. Cheers, David 1. http://code.google.com/p/leveldb/ -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-factory+owner@opensuse.org

Sounds good, would be nice to see ceph in openSUSE. ismail -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-factory+owner@opensuse.org

Agreed. I'll propose Ceph separately from my WIP repo at home:dmdiss:ceph/ceph. I've submitted 202602 for LevelDB. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-factory+owner@opensuse.org

Yes, but that hasn't been updated in ~8 months. Also, it doesn't have a link to openSUSE:Factory, so can't currently be considered an openSUSE devel project per se. It seems they got stuck at 0.56 My scan showed a more recent version (0.66) in repo/home\:/dmdiss:/ceph/openSUSE_Factory But that is certainly not "official openSUSE", eventhough there are builds for SLE11SP3 Hans -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-factory+owner@opensuse.org
Hi David,
Isn't ceph allready on the OBS, under "filesystems" ? (and in several home dirs) Yes, but that hasn't been updated in ~8 months. Also, it doesn't have a link to openSUSE:Factory, so can't currently be considered an openSUSE devel project per se.
Well, it has never been submitted to Factory, so it doesn't have a link to Factory. That can be changed though. The previous maintainer became inactive, do you want to step up?
