[opensuse-factory] Broken non-oss for 12.1
Hi, When I try repositories for 12.1, I found a bug in metadata for 12.1 non-oss repo. http://download.opensuse.org/distribution/12.1/repo/non-oss/suse/setup/descr... mention that in http://download.opensuse.org/distribution/12.1/repo/non-oss/suse/setup/descr... is file patterns , but it isn't there and it cause error if non-oss is added as yast2 repository. It would be nice if we fixed it before official opensuse 12.1 release. Josef -- Josef Reidinger Software Engineer Appliance Department SUSE LINUX, s. r. o. This is the case for factory/repo/non-oss and I never had a problem with the factory repo - nor did anyone report ever a problem with the milestone repos. So while I agree there is a bug, I wonder why it's a problem out of the sudden. Hmm, still wondering - but as the file is not signed I can easily remove the offending line - done now. Greetings, Stephan -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-factory+owner@opensuse.org

Yes, that's exactly how I discover it. When I try zypper dup after changing repos to 12.1. Josef -- Josef Reidinger Software Engineer Appliance Department SUSE LINUX, s. r. o. So possibly only the 11.4 zypper sees the problem? That might explain why others don't see the problem. Greetings, Stephan -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-factory+owner@opensuse.org

No, I see the problem as well with a fresh install of b0039. -- Guido Berhoerster -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-factory+owner@opensuse.org

Fixed now for the 12.1 repo, the bug needs to be fixed for factory though. Greetings, Stephan -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-factory+owner@opensuse.org

Greetings, Stephan
I'm pretty sure I had the same problem on a fresh install from net iso (build 39). I only clicked "ignore", thinking repos where not yet setup (and had too many other things to do to really notice) jd -- http://www.dodin.net -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-factory+owner@opensuse.org
