[opensuse-factory] 11.4m6 - zypper not installed by default?
I installed the minimum text-only selection, but zypper wasn't automatically selected? Sounds a bit silly and in 11.3 I'm pretty certain zypper was included by default. (as was ntp). -- Per Jessen, Zürich (-1.8°C) -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-factory+help@opensuse.org

Yeah, someone wanted minimum to be bare metal. Ludwig and me worked on that last week to make it reasonable again. Greetings, Stephan -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-factory+help@opensuse.org

Sounds good - I just discovered that even vi(m) wasn't installed. That's not bare metal, that's no metal at all :-) /Per -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-factory+help@opensuse.org

Without zypper installed it would be tedious to install packages with depancies on other modules Glenn -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-factory+help@opensuse.org

Greetings, Stephan
I've just installed "Minium Server Selection" from factory - it's not exactly very "reasonable" yet. For instance, still no zypper, wget, man and vim. Instead I get 'release-notes-mono' :-) This is probably a stupid question, but can't you just roll back whatever changes were made to the "Minium Server Selection"? /Per -- Per Jessen, Zürich (5.4°C) -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-factory+help@opensuse.org
